In the midst of principled criticism of the policies of Dr. A. Roy Medley, General Secretary of the ABCUSA, His Barking Dog would like to pause to wish him a quick recovery from his current illness. Reportedly suffering from painful kidney stones, Dr. Medley was unable to be present at the recent meetings of the General Board assembling at Green Lake this past weekend. Dr. Medley and I disagree on many fundamental issues of polity. However, at a profoundly spiritual level, we are brothers in Christ. Join with me in fervent prayers for his recovery and the grace to face even this season of life.
